Even as a little boy, with his charm and laughter Hansueli knew how to captivate an audience . Back then he would travel around the country with his father impressing people with his singing and yodelling interludes. Hansueli learnt to play the Schwyzerörgeli accordion at the age of eleven. Since then, this small, unique instrument has remained his most constant companion. Hansueli has been appearing on stage as a real musician and with great success for more than 50 years – for many years accompanying the famous “Jodlerfründe vo Stauffenalp” (Yodel Friends of Stauffenalp) and, above all, as an influential member of the “Schwyzerörgeliquartett Stockhorn“ (Stockhorn Schwyzerörgeli Quartet) and the legendary “Trio Oesch”.
